THE COVER TO MY NEW BOOK IS HERE!
I was lucky to get great feedback on mockups when I was playing around with concepts and images. This couple is the best one for my story of Lara, the young spiritual seeker and her boyfriend Daniel, musician and Lara’s protector as they tour India following Lara’s Map to Enlightenment. In this road trip romance, they’re both trying to figure out their goals in life and how to make young love last.
The book is written, edited, and coming out in mid-February! Yes, I finally wrote a love story in time for Valentine’s Day.
It was a long year of writing, interrupted by family crises and changes, but through a tumultuous period, working on this book has been my refuge. Writing has often been for me a vacation I carry around in my mind. Stories with a full world and set of characters. In this case, I was carrying forward characters from RETURN TO LERICI, the second installment in series that started with THE INVISIBLES and the Greene sisters, when they inherited their cottage on the Ligurian Coast of Italy, along with its resident spirit, the 19th century poet Shelley.

The Story in Heart Strung
Young American expats Daniel and Lara have just settled down on the Italian coast when Lara invites Daniel to join her on a quest for truth in India. Specifically, she wants the two of them to go to India, following what she calls the Map to Enlightenment. Daniel wants only two things: to be with Lara and to make music. A romantic at heart, he has written songs about the woman he hardly knows. Of course, he agrees to go, hoping this brief road trip will keep them together. Lara knows there’s something greater than what she sees in her parents, the pursuit of money and success. She’s sure she’ll find it in India. Can the love between a songwriter and his beautiful muse survive the perils of the journey?
